Who We Are
MIRA Collective is the creative studio of Mike and Raven Williams, a husband-wife team in Northwest Arkansas.
We use our graphic design skills to help small businesses build their brands. We also practice other disciplines that intersect with our training as graphic designers to create something bigger, including illustration, fine art, game design, fiber arts, and vintage curation. In short, we like making things.
Where does ‘MIRA’ come from?
MIRA is a blend of our two names: ‘Mi’ from Mike and ‘Ra’ from Raven. We are partners in life and work. “Mira” also means “look” in Spanish; “wonderful” in Latin, and “aim” in Italian…and we like that.
What’s Our Goal?
We want to create things that inspire, delight, empower, and move you.
Who’s in the Studio?
Mike is a Florida native who came to Arkansas in the early aughts. He graduated from Arkansas Tech University with a Bachelor of Arts, emphasis Graphic Design. Mike’s favorite things are games of all kinds, pizza, cake, and Raven. He’s currently holding a personal best record for longest time without a haircut: 9 years. Raven is a born and raised Arkansan. She graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Arts, emphasis Visual Design. Raven’s favorite things are gardening, breakfast food, rainy days, and Mike. People think she might be a witch but she will neither confirm or deny the rumors.
Community
Creativity
Sustainability
These are the things that drive us, and in our minds they’re all connected.
When we support artists, creators and craftspeople, we contribute to a future that is more whole—one where our neighbors and communities have direct stake in the game.
When we buy second-hand, vintage, and sustainably made, we support a vision for a better and cleaner planet with reduced waste, one where everyone benefits.
When sustainable practices are implemented, more room is made for communities and creativity to thrive.
